In Selangor, a foreigner died several hours after he was found bleeding with stab wounds at a bus stop along the Federal Highway last night.
Petaling Jaya police chief Assistant Commissioner Arjunaidi Mohamed said authorities were alerted at about 11pm and the victim was rushed to the University Malaya Medical Centre.
He was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Initial investigations revealed that the unidentified man had bled to death.
Arjunaidi said police have not ruled out the possibility that the victim had been stabbed at another location before he was found at the bus stand.
It was learnt that the victim’s valuables were still with him when he was found.
The case is being investigated under the Penal Code for murder.
