The Johor Immigration Department will take strict action on any massage parlour and entertainment outlet operators found hiring illegal foreign women as massuers or guest relations officers, GROs.
State 6P joint operations chief coordinator, Masri Adul said the authorities will not compromise over the matter if the operators were found flouting the law.
He added since September 1st 210 foreign women were nabbed in raids carried out at 30 entertainment and massage centers in the state.
Those arrested comprise 123 Vietnamese, 69 Chinese nationals and 18 Thais.
Most of them were found abusing their social visit passes by working at these premises.
All those detained are liable to a maximum of six months in jail, fined up to one thousand ringgit or both if found guilty under immigration laws.
Seven employers were also held for illegally hiring foreigners to work at their premises during the same period.
For the offence, they can be fined between 10 to 50 thousand ringgit or sent to 12 months in jail.
