A 29-year-old man, believed to be a member of the notorious ‘Geng Lapan Belas’ was among several people nabbed during an Ops Cantas raid at an entertainment outlet in Klang, Selangor last night.
In the midnight operation at Jalan Batu Nilam police also found the gang’s symbols tattooed on his body.
He was placed under custody to facilitate investigations to determine whether he was involved in any criminal case.
It’s understood that the suspect has been a gang member since he was 15-years-old.
Also held were 15 foreign women, including an 18-year-old Vietnamese girl who were working as GROs.
Police also arrested a local man, believed to be the caretaker of the premise.
All those detained were taken to Klang Selatan police district headquarters for further action.
