27 foreign women working as GROs at an entertainment outlet were arrested during an anti vice raid in Damansara Perdana, Selangor last night.
A team from Petaling Jaya police station’s anti-vice squad raided the outlet, located on the first floor of a row of shop houses in Damansara Perdana at 11.30 pm.
The GROs, aged 21 and 27, scampered when they realised that the outlet is being raided by the authorities.
Some even jumped to another shop from the first floor but failed.
The women who spotted bruises on their body for their misadventure, were arrested.
Checks showed the Thais were in the country on social visit passes.
Police also arrested a woman believed to be the caretaker, three Bangladeshi workers and a Thai man, who was employed as a singer.
