A restaurant owner was found dead with several stab wounds to the chest and shoulder near his restaurant at Kampung Cacar, Paka Terengganu today.
Police believe the victim was attacked by more than one person and a manhunt has been launcehd for the suspects.
According to State Criminal Investigation Department head ACP K.Manoharan, the bloodied body of 50 year old Mohamad Lutpi Mansor, was found by a passer-by infront of his house at about 7.30am.
He said the victim was believed to have left the premises at about 4.30am to deposit the previous day’s sale’s collection at a bank in Bandar Dungun.
Police have not ruled out robbery as the motive because the victim’s Toyota Hilux, and wallet were missing.
The victim’s wife 25 year old Nor Zuedawati Umar, was informed about his murder by her brother.
His body was sent to Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital in Kuala Terengganu for a post mortem.
