Berjaya Times Square has made it into the Guinness Book of World Records, for creating the largest capsule vending machine in the world.
The confirmation was made by Guinness World Records official, Jack Brockbank today.
The giant contraption, which is located near the main entrance on the ground floor of the shopping mall, is 9.8 meters high, weighs over three tonnes, and took six months to built.
It houses 125 thousand capsules, which contained various prizes amounting to 500 thousand ringgit including LED TVs, iPad Minis, digital cameras, cash vouchers and more.
The machine was built, in conjunction with the shopping mall’s 10th anniversary celebration.
