In Kuala Lumpur two luxury car thieves, who were trying to break into a BMW X6, were caught in the act by the owner in Wangsa Maju last night.
In the 10pm incident, a witness told the owner that two suspicious individuals were seen near his car.
When he realized that the duo were trying to break into his car, he immediately alerted police.
The suspects then realized they were being watched and quickly left in a Toyota Alphard.
Police managed to arrest the suspects after the MPV crashed about five kilometres away from the scene.
Authorities recovered various car break-in tools inside the vehicle and also discovered that the suspects, aged 30 and 43, were wanted for previous offences.
